Dr. Fry has served Berks County as a small animal veterinarian for seven years prior to venturing out on her own.   As a graduate of University of Penn, she has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 10 years.  Dr. Fry strongly advocates spay and neuter as well as preventative health care programs for pets.   "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."    She is the Executive Director of The Fairchild "Feral Friends" Foundation, www.fairchildcat.org, a local Trap-Neuter-Return program that spays and neuters stray and feral cats in Berks County and surrounding areas.   Dr. Fry also has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery, nutrition, alternative medicine, animal behavior and pet supplements.   

Dr. Jennifer Gemma-Rouse graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After interning at Southeastern Maryland Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, she spent 4 years as a small animal veterinarian at Quail Corners and Hidden Valley Animal Hospitals in Raleigh, North Carolina. She obtained her certification as a PennHip member in 2004 and has a special interest in hip dypslasia. In 2005, Dr. Gemma relocated to the Philadelphia area and practiced at Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital in Bensalem, PA. Her experience includes emergency, surgical, medical and preventative care. Special procedures experience includes rigid and flexible endoscopy including rhinoscopy, video otoscopy, and gastroscopy. Her professional interests include canine sports medicine and surgery, pain management, anesthesiology, general surgery (orthopedic and soft tissue), reconstructive surgery and chronic wound management and rehabilitation medicine.
